Our Commitment to Quality At SlidePlate, we stand behind the precision and quality of our Swiss-engineered products. We want you to be absolutely satisfied with your purchase.
1. No General Right of Return (Switzerland) Please note that under Swiss law, there is generally no legal right to return goods purchased online without cause. Therefore, we do not offer returns for items that simply do not meet personal expectations after being used or ordered incorrectly. We encourage you to carefully review product descriptions and ask any questions before purchase.
2. Defective or Damaged Items (Your Warranty) We meticulously inspect every SlidePlate product before shipment. However, should your item arrive defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong product, please contact us immediately upon reception at returns@slideplate.ch. We will assess the issue and work with you to find a solution, which may include repair, replacement, or a refund.
3. Eligibility for Warranty Claim
- Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging.
- You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
- Items returned to us without prior authorization will not be accepted.
4. How to Start a Warranty Claim To start a claim, please contact us at returns@slideplate.ch. We will provide you with instructions on how and where to send your package.
5. Shipping Costs for Returns
If a return is initiated due to a defective or damaged item (warranty claim), SlidePlate will cover the return shipping costs. For any other (non-warranty) returns that we agree to accept on a case-by-case basis (e.g., goodwill), the customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
6. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
- Custom products (e.g., specially personalized items) cannot be returned.
- Sale items or gift cards cannot be returned.
7. Refunds (for Approved Warranty Claims or Goodwill Returns)
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your returned item. If your warranty claim is approved (or a goodwill return is accepted), your refund will be automatically processed on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
