Introduction Welcome to SlidePlate! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website slideplate.ch and the purchase of products from us. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Scope of Application 
These Terms apply to all orders placed through slideplate.ch and deliveries made by SlidePlate. Any conflicting or deviating terms of the customer will not be recognized.

3. Conclusion of Contract

  • Offer: The presentation of products on our website does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather an invitation to place an order.
  • Order: By clicking the "Buy" / "Place Order" button, you place a binding order for the products in your shopping cart.
  • Acceptance: The contract is concluded when we send you an order confirmation via email. We reserve the right to decline orders without stating reasons.

4. Prices and Payment Terms

  • Prices: All prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include the statutory value-added tax (VAT) if applicable. Shipping costs are displayed separately during the checkout process.
  • Payment Methods: We accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, TWINT, PayPal.
  • Due Date: Payment is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract.

5. Shipping and Delivery

  • Delivery Area: We deliver to Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
  • Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are borne by the buyer and are specified during checkout.
  • Delivery Times: Standard Delivery in Switzerland takes about 2-3 business days. Delivery times are estimates and not binding.
  • Risk Transfer: The risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the buyer upon handover to the shipping carrier.

6. No General Right of Withdrawal (Swiss Law)

  • Crucial Point: In Switzerland, there is no statutory right of withdrawal for contracts concluded online.
  • Therefore, we generally do not offer a right of return for goods that are correctly delivered and free from defects, or that do not meet subjective expectations.
  • We recommend reviewing our products carefully before placing an order.

7. Warranty for Defects

  • Defects: We guarantee that our products are free from material and manufacturing defects at the time of delivery.
  • Notification of Defects: The buyer must inspect the delivered goods immediately upon receipt. Obvious defects must be reported to us in writing (via email to info@slideplate.ch) within 2 business days of receipt. Non-obvious defects must be reported immediately upon discovery.
  • Remedy: In the event of a legitimate and timely notification of defects, we will, at our discretion, either repair the defect, replace the product, or issue a refund.
  • Exclusions: The warranty does not cover defects caused by improper handling, normal wear and tear, external influences, or modifications not carried out by SlidePlate.

8. Liability

  • We are liable only for direct damages caused by gross negligence or willful intent.
  • Liability for indirect damages, consequential damages, loss of profit, or damages from third-party claims is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

9. Data Protection

  • We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By accepting these Terms, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All content on slideplate.ch, including designs, texts, graphics, and our product designs (e.g., SlidePlate mechanism), are the intellectual property of SlidePlate and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by Swiss law, to the exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
  • The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms is St. Gallen, Switzerland.

12. Severability Clause

  • Should individual provisions of these Terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
